What is Touchouss?
Touchouss is an iPhone app for groups who ski together without having the same level: families with children, friends, or both. It suggests loops of runs set on the least confident skier, guides everyone run by run and gets everyone back on time to the meeting point.
Which app helps a family ski together with different levels?
Touchouss is built for that. You say who is skiing with you; the app works out a loop everyone can do, set on the least confident. Then each person can go off on runs at their own level, and the app tells you when and where to meet again.
How does Touchouss work?
1. You say who is skiing today (adults, children, teens). 2. Touchouss suggests loops, including a « Discovery » loop with runs you have never done. 3. The app guides you run by run. 4. It gets you back on time: end of ski school, lunch, a break.
Is Touchouss free?
Yes, during the beta. There are no ads in the app and your data is not sold.
Which phones?
iPhone only for now, with iOS 18 or later. The beta is open via TestFlight: leave your email on the home page and we will send you the invitation.
Which ski areas does Touchouss cover?
During the beta, 12 ski areas in the Alps: Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski, Tignes - Val d'Isère, Les Portes du Soleil, Le Grand Massif, Les Sybelles, Serre Chevalier, L'Alpe d'Huez, Les 2 Alpes, La Clusaz, La Rosière and Valmorel. More will follow.
Does the app show which runs are open?
Yes, live, in the ski areas that publish their report: Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski, Tignes - Val d'Isère and La Clusaz. Elsewhere, the app shows every run of the area.
Does Touchouss work without signal?
The ski area map can be downloaded in the app to stay readable offline. To see where the group is and share your position, you need a connection.
Do my children need a phone?
No. A child is a profile linked to their parents: they count when the loop is worked out, but their position is never collected.
Can I track my child's position on the slopes?
No, not for a child without a phone: Touchouss never collects their position. A teen with their own iPhone can share theirs with the group if they ask and a parent agrees, never between 7 pm and 7 am.
What about ski school?
You enter the lesson (ESF or another school) and when it ends. Touchouss knows the ski school meeting points in the areas it covers and gets you there on time to pick up your child.
Who sees my position?
Only the members of your group, and only if you tap « On skie aujourd'hui » (we're skiing today). It is deleted from our server every night.
How do I join a group?
Open the link you received on your iPhone. If the app doesn't open, tap « J'ai un lien ou un code » (I have a link or a code) in the app and paste the code.
